In the Turkish demonstrator, built for ERMETAL use case, innovative functions from OPTIMUM are used for a safer and more efficient coil transport as well as intelligent warehouse management. The aim is to increase safety on the shop floor and speed up processes via innovative functions. To implement those functions, ERMETAL, ERSTE and DIA first developed a smaller desktop demonstrator. Later, an additional, larger demonstrator was developed, which impressively demonstrates the functionality on a scale of 1:10.
