Shortly before the successful completion of our OPTIMUM research project, we succeeded in implementing further use cases for the domain of smart material handling in the DEMAG Research Factory. We are utilizing innovative assistance functions from OPTIMUM for the demo assembly process of the Quadro chain hoist for more efficient process flows. The following 3D animation shows the Demag Research Factory with the implemented demo assembly process. The 3D simulation tool 'TaraVRbuilder' developed by Tarakos is used for visualisation and simulation.
